Contacts are the individuals who take part in your events. They may belong to one or more structures, as coordinators and/or members of those structures.

In your organization space, you will find a list of all your contacts, who can be registered for your events as participants.




Create a contact



To create a new contact, click on the Add button and enter the first name/last name (required), email address, phone number, and the organizations to which the contact is associated (optional). You can also create contacts in bulk from an existing file by importing contacts.



Anyone who registers for one of your events via your registration portal is also automatically added to your contacts.

By clicking on a contact in the list, you can access their profile, where you will find information about the organizations they are members of, the events they are registered for, and any personalized information saved in their profile. To add or modify information, click on the Edit icon.






Register contacts for an event



  • To register contacts for an event, select the desired contacts from the list and click Register in the menu bar at the bottom of the page.




  • Select the desired event, the structure to which the contacts will be attached, the category to which they belong, and their registration status. If the structure is not yet registered for the event, you can register it at the same time.





Merge contacts and search for redundancies



From your contact list, you can merge contacts (for example, if a duplicate has been created by mistake).



  • To do this, select the contacts you want to merge from the list and click Merge.




  • Indicate which contact will be the main contact, the one that will remain in your database. On merging, the main contact will keep its data and will benefit from the structures, roles, and registrations of the other contacts (this additionnal information will be added to the main contact profile). The customized information of the main contact will also be completed: if some information is missing in the main contact's profile, it will be completed with the most recent information from the other merged contacts.




  • Use the Merge redundancies feature to identify contacts with the same first and last names that may need to be merged.




Delete a contact from the organization database



To delete a contact from your organization's database, click Delete in the additional menu (3 vertical dots).



Deletion is permanent; it is not possible to recover data from a deleted contact.
