# Assign a pass template to a participant category

To specify the pass template to be used for a category of participants at your event, go to **Registrations > Categories** and click on the desired category: you can then choose a pass template among those you have [configured](https://help.qomeet.com/en/article/configure-pass-templates-1mo4ib4/).

| The pass template is always associated with the participant's category.

You can also use the grouped update to assign a pass template to several categories in a single action. To do this, select the desired categories and click on Grouped update at the bottom of the page.
