Categories of participants
Assign zones and services to a participant category
To list the different categories of participants that can register for your event, go to Registrations > Categories (in the side menu of your event space).

Create a category
- Click on Add to create a new category.
- Enter the name of the category, its authorized accreditation zones, the pass template to be applied and select the registration form associated with that category.

Assign zones and services to a participant category
The authorized zones for a participant category are defined in the corresponding settings. Go to Registrations > Categories and click on the desired category to define its authorized zones. You can also configure access for each category using the Access Matrix.
Each participant has access to the authorized zones of their category, but it is also possible to adjust the access of a specific person from their participant sheet.

To assign meals, material items, and parking spaces to a participant category, you will need to configure allocation rules for each service. Allocation rules are based on category tags: you can therefore assign the same tag to a group of categories and thus create rules that take into account several participant categories (for example, assign "VIP parking space" to the categories “VIP Guests” and “Officials”).
To assign a tag to a participant category, go to Registrations > Categories and click on the desired category.
Categories grouped update
From your list of participant categories, you can easily make grouped updates: select the categories to be updated and click on the Grouped update button in the menu at the bottom of the page. You can then select the fields to be updated and specify their values.
You can modify the registration form and pass template, and add or remove tags and accreditation zones.

Delete a category
- To delete a category, go to Registrations > Categories.
- Click on the additional menu (3 vertical dots icon) and select Delete.
