Frequently Asked Questions - Configuration of catering locations and meal allocation rules

I have different catering venues for different days

I have several types of lunch in the same catering location. Can I create the meal “Lunch” twice in the same location?

How can I allocate cashless credits in place of a meal?

I have different catering venues for different days

To manage meals in different locations on different days - for example, cashless credits during the set-up phase, then access to the cafeteria during the event - you will need to:

  • Create an allocation rule for each location, selecting the dates when each meal is available. The dates will be different for each meal.

In this case, the order of priority of the allocation rules is not important. Since the rules do not apply on the same days, there will be no hierarchy between them.

Yes, you can create the same type of meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) several times in the same catering location. This could be, for example, an “On-site lunch” and a “Takeaway lunchbox”. Use the Additional information field to better differentiate each meal in this case.

How can I allocate cashless credits in place of a meal?

  • Create the different meals for which you wish to allocate cashless credits. You can simply call the catering location “Cashless”, or any other name you like.

  • In the meal details, indicate the amount to be credited for the cashless meal.

  • Create your allocation rules for cashless meals. For example, you can allocate cashless meals to a specific category of participants, or during a specific phase of your event (set-up, dismantling, etc.).

  • If you use integration with third-party tools for your event, each participant's cashless credits will be automatically synchronized with your cashless tool. To find out more about integration with third-party tools, contact us!
